Before Gordon's Arrival[]
CeCe is the daughter of a successful pizzeria owner who moved to Boca Raton from New York ten years earlier. She is a self-taught chef. Her father helped her buy Anna Vincenzo's. She believes there are no rules in food, and her food is good. However, business is slow and she owes her father a lot of money.
First Impressions[]
Gordon arrives in a Cadillac Escalade. He notices Angelo eyeballing him and meets Michael, who is well-dressed. Gordon first asks for one of everything. Ashton alerts him to how large the menu is. Gordon decides he was joking, and changes his plan.

Salmon Divino-Gordon says the salmon is dry and overcooked and looks like it was created in a science lab. He also guesses correctly the salmon is frozen, and tastes like cardboard
Snapper Anna-Gordon says it looks like a dog's dinner and has a consistency of mush.
Favorito del Nonna-Gordon says it is soggy in the middle, and crispy on the outside and bland
First Dinner Service[]
Gordon confronts CeCe with his criticisms. CeCe doesn't take it well, especially when Gordon points out that Michael agreed with him. When CeCe angrily asks him, he changes his story. CeCe asks Gordon if he takes it well when people criticize his food, to which Gordon retorts "I don't cook shit like that". Gordon leaves but eventually returns. Gordon checks their supplies. The gnocchi are not made in-house. The meatballs are not well made. The service begins. CeCe and the kitchen push orders out fast, but the food is full of mistakes. CeCe can't take criticism, and as more and more food comes back, she breaks down. She goes outside and cries. Michael tries to comfort her, which helps a little, but CeCe decides to quit for the night. Michael takes over the kitchen and is able to finish the service. CeCe continues to cry. Gordon wants her to admit the food is the problem. CeCe tries to blame everyone but herself.

Remainder of the Visit[]
The next day, Gordon meets the cooks at the restaurant and challenges them to make all 181 items on the menu. It takes hours, but they do it, and Gordon lays it all out to make a point. Quantity over quality. He then goes over each menu item to declare fresh over frozen. Over 80% is frozen. Gordon teaches CeCe a recipe for lasagna, to gear up for a new family style menu.
Restaurant & Menu Remodel[]
Gordon's design team overhauls the interior with lighter colors. Gordon redesigns the menu and hires a chef to help train CeCe and the cooks in the menu.
Final Service[]
Gordon hosts a pizza contest to drum up hype with the Miami Dolphins, the Miami Heat and the Florida Panthers. The Dolphins win the contest. The new family style menu is exciting to the customers. Thanks to Daniel and CeCe, they get off to a good start. However, CeCe's standards start to slip, and she starts to send food with mistakes, even when she knows there's been a mistake. Gordon puts a stop to it immediately. The happy customers make CeCe happy. Gordon gathers CeCe, Angelo and Michael. He reminds them to keep their standards up, and tells them they can succeed and to "go for it".
After Gordon's Departure[]
CeCe follows Gordon's advice and things continue to go well. However, this was short-lived, and the restaurant closed just a month after the episode aired in April 2010. An Indian restaurant now occupies the space. Just a year later, Michael opened his own restaurant, Il Contadino which is successful and remains open to this day(April 2022).
