Before Gordon's Arrival
Winter brought them a low income as opposed to summer, so in order to cut down on costs, Marc had to let the head chef go and took over for him. The staff believe the problem is Lisa who is not very hard working and only comes in two days a week.

Gordon finds the kitchen is a mess and sees that everybody is overworked.
Restaurant & Menu Remodel
Gordon gives them a new menu and they promote the restaurant, giving people the new clam chowder in order to convince them to go to the restaurant. Gordon and his team also worked overnight to remodel the current design.
Customers are kept waiting, so Lisa has the servers stop taking orders for a little bit due to the high demand. In the end, the final service was a success.
After Gordon's Departure
The restaurant reverted to their old menu because the new one was too fancy. However, they still received mixed reviews. The restaurant closed in 2016, four years after the episode filmed.
