Impressions of the Food[]
Baked onion soup-Gordon hates the appearance and there is way more cheese than soup. What soup there is, he says is tasteless
Quiche-Gordon says the texture is all wrong, and the salad has black spots
Lamb lollipops-Gordon says they are undercooked and hideous and the sauce is too sweet. He then turns the picture of his wife away from the food

It's Valentine's Day, so they will be uncharacteristically busy. Gordon blasts their dessert display. Gordon notices that nobody checks the food before it goes out. Brian admits the salad is "pre-washed". To Gordon's horror something from the dessert display(over a week old) is being served. Gordon is getting frustrated and now wants to see the walk-in. Sure enough, it's disgusting. There is raw chicken with cooked chicken in the same container. Gordon has Nick shut the place down for the night. Gordon tells Chris he has passion, and once again lambasts Brian for his lack thereof. Nothing Gordon says affects him.

Gordon rewrites the menu, and takes it away from fine dining. This also scares Chris. The new menu is very simple, but fresh.
Final Service[]
Gordon can't believe that Brian is now enthusiastic and Chris is disheartened by the changes. The kitchen gets off to a good start.
