Before Gordon's Arrival
Rita smokes too much and Lisa drinks in front of the customers. The staff is losing motivation for the restaurant. Even though they have tried making changes to the restaurant, such as prices and menu, they are still unsuccessful.

Gordon finds that the servers get angry easily and always sit down. He finds that they are losing money as well.

Gordon asked for desert, but since they did not have any, he was brought desert from their father's restaurant. He was impressed and calls the plate delicious. Their mother Lena tells Gordon that the recipe was hers.
First Dinner Service
On Saturday night, when the restaurant was full, Gordon was surprised to see that the head chef Doug did not like eating or cooking Italian food. There are many complaints about the mussels, which are not fresh. Gordon finds mussels stored in the fridge in a bowl with some of them dead inside. In the pantry, he finds frozen pasta, rotten food and Lisa threatens to leave. When Gordon tells her he would follow, they both end up leaving.
Reflections
When Lisa returns, she drinks, but Gordon tells her to be brave and encourages the sisters to do better. The sisters promise not to drink and smoke, serving Gordon a tiramisu which Gordon likes.
Remainder of the Visit
Restaurant & Menu Remodel
Gordon tells Doug to do better as well, so he shows everyone new dishes which everybody likes. Chef Michael, a new chef vows to help Doug succeed with the new menu.
The restaurant is changed to depict a more romantic theme.
Final Service
Rita and Lisa try encouraging their staff. When their system stops working, they go back to using handwritten orders. Doug is doing well in the kitchen with Michael's help. The customer's are happy and Gordon compliments everybody on their good work.
After Gordon's Departure
Reviews were mixed between people criticizing the food and service. La Galleria 33 closed in November 2018, six years after the episode was filmed in May 2012.
